The Detroit Pistons deliver the late KO

There were so many clutch shots in last night’s game that it’s hard to know where to begin. After having a relatively quiet game early on, Kelly Olynyk caught fire in the 4th quarter and kept the Pistons in it with three from long range.

Saddiq Bey had multiple tough offensive rebounds, put backs and 3-point shots, as did Jerami Grant, who the Pistons went to down the stretch when their offense was having a hard time getting shots.

Several times it looked like the Hornets were going to put the game away only to have the Detroit Pistons hit another clutch shot to either tie the game or put them within one score.

Detroit just kept chipping away and hanging in there until the final shot, when Olynyk was able to come off the bench after not playing in the overtime and hit the game winner as the clock expired.

It was one of the most exciting victories of the last few seasons and finally ended the 15-game losing streak against Charlotte.

It took huge plays from just about everyone to get it done and the Detroit Pistons are playing their best basketball of the season.
