Detroit Pistons beaten by former Pistons

The Clippers have been playing without their two stars and are somehow still staying afloat in the Western Conference.

This is mostly due to the play of some ex-Pistons, which was true again last night, as Detroit was done in by some familiar faces.

Marcus Morris poured in 31 points to pace the Clippers, while Luke Kennard had 16 and point guard Reggie Jackson had 15 points, nine assists and eight rebounds while controlling the game in the 4th quarter.

It looked like Luke Kennard was running his mouth to the Pistons’ bench and Dwane Casey at one point and all I have to say is: Settle down, Luke.

You’re a one-trick pony who barely averages double digits. Saddiq Bey is already better than you and you’ll never be anything more than a soft role player who can’t guard anyone. You made a few 3’s against the third-worst team in the league, congrats! I hope they give you a trophy.

Reggie Jackson, on the other hand, gave his former team some love:

"“I will always have mad love for the Pistons, the city and the fans…I was just a rugrat when I came here from OKC, but I learned how to be an NBA player in Detroit. It’s always special for me to come back here and I hope all the fans understand that.”"

We do. And we still love you, Reggie.

Luke, I think you know what you can do.
