The Detroit Pistons Big 3 and no one else

Over the last several weeks, the Pistons’ “Big 3” of Cade Cunningham, Saddiq Bey and Jerami Grant have been averaging around 60 points per game between them.

They put up 75 efficient points last night, which normally would be enough to secure the win, but the problem was Detroit got next to nothing from the rest of the team.

No one else on the team was even in double digits and the non-Big-3 players combined for just 34 points, including a pathetic 20 points from the five guys who came off the bench.

If the Detroit Pistons decide to keep Jerami Grant, they may already have their Big 3, but they are going to need consistent production from someone else.

It has been Marvin Bagley III at times, Kelly Olynyk at others and Frank Jackson has given them stretches, but no one has done it game after game.

The Pistons have some of the pieces to be a good team, but they lack that veteran who can consistently give them production off the bench.

Hopefully, the Pistons will be adding some talent in the draft and free agency that will plug those holes and give Detroit more depth, as you need more than three guys getting points on a consistent basis.
