Detroit Pistons: Ranking the NBA’s new uniforms

The Boring Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers also updated their uniforms for next season, and while I don’t hate these designs, I just find them a bit boring.

The red ones are probably the best of the three, as the white ones are too plain and the black are just weird with the big C in the middle.

There really isn’t anything wrong with these, especially if you like clean, modern designs, but for me they are just a snooze and not a big change from anything they’ve had in recent years.

This was a great chance for them to bring back the Mark Price era blue jerseys, which could be great with a modern touch up.

More Jazz

The Jazz are also bringing back a Classic Edition jersey from the Karl Malone era that was the heyday of the franchise.

If I were running the jazz, I’d want to stay far away from anything to do with Karl Malone but I get wanting to inject some color after giving your fans those awful yellow things.

The purple and mountain design just makes me think of those Jazz teams that were good, but also super boring unless you enjoy watching John Stockton and Karl Malone play pick-and-roll.

They are certainly better than the bumble bee look, but come from an era that I would personally rather forget.
