Ranking the NBA’s new uniforms

Return of a Spurs’ Classic

I like when the Classic Editions actually throwback to a time that was “classic” for the fanbase, which is why the teal is so unpopular with some fans, as it just brings back bad memories of a time when the team wasn’t very good.

The Spurs are bringing back their classic look, which is the clean, black-and-white color way that harkens back to the days of George Gervin.

I am sure some people find these boring and I would agree that the lettering is a bit clunky, but otherwise, I really like these, especially when juxtaposed against the awful Statement Editions.

The real question for San Antonio is whose name is going to be on the back of these, as they keep trading away their most popular players.

I am sure teams will be rolling these out all summer and we’ll have plenty to argue about, but so far the uniforms have ranged from awful to instant classic.

Next. Which bad team will be good first?. dark
