Detroit Pistons: Possible All-Stars next season

If we are being honest, there is only one player on the Detroit Pistons that has a real chance of making the All-Star team next season.

Cade Cunningham

Cade Cunningham got off to a slow start last season but finished strong, putting up numbers that would have gotten him All-Star consideration over the course of a full season.

Cade averaged 21.1 points, 6.5 assists and 5.7 rebounds after the All-Star break last season and the Pistons started to show signs of life. They either won or were close in nearly every game and Cade was looking far more comfortable running the offense and knocking down shots.

He’s already put on muscle this offseason and is going to come back even better. I think we could see him put up monster stats next season with more weapons around him, especially when it comes to kick-outs and lobs.

Cunningham could easily average closer to 10 assists per game next season to go along with 20+ ppg, numbers that would definitely get him All-Star consideration. As a former #1 pick, Cunningham is already a well-known name, so if the Pistons are even competitive next season, he’ll have a chance to get voted in or added as a reserve.
