Detroit Pistons: 2023 NBA free agent reserves

This list is mostly role players, but there are some guys who could help the Pistons when it comes time to fill out their roster and look for answers to specific weaknesses. Here are a just a few of the names that could draw some interest:

  • Grant Williams
  • TJ Warren
  • Kelly Oubre Jr.
  • Ayo Dosunmu
  • Andre Drummond
  • Kevin Love
  • Bruce Brown
  • Alec Burks
  • Hamidou Diallo
  • Nerlens Noel
  • Cory Joseph
  • Donte DiVincenzo
  • Max Strus
  • Talen Horton-Tucker
  • Jaxson Hayes
  • Malik Beasley

As you can see, there are a whole lot of former and current Pistons on this list. I could definitely see the Pistons bringing back Burks and Noel depending on how things go this season, as they have team options on both and they are on reasonable deals.

Max Strus would be a nice shooter to add to the roster, as would a guy like Grant Williams, who was a very good two-way player for the Celtics last season.

This is a just a fraction of the list, though plenty of these guys will exercise player or team options next season that will keep them out of free agency.

The Detroit Pistons are finally going to have cap space in a free-agency class that has a lot of talent, so they should be able to add an impact player or two next offseason.
