Good news! The Detroit Pistons will start training camp next week after a long offseason and plenty of speculation.

Detroit made a flurry of moves around the draft, but then went relatively quiet before making a splashy trade for Bojan Bogdanovic just before training camp was set to start.

This opened up a whole new set of questions, specifically about the starting lineups and rotation.

We’ll start to get some answers soon, as the Detroit Pistons will have media day on September 26th (you can find livestream information here) and then start one of the most anticipated training camps in years.

Here is all of the information you need before the Pistons tip-off the 2022-23 season.

When does 2022 Detroit Pistons training camp start?

The Pistons will begin training camp on September 27th and will continue until October 2nd. The preseason begins on October 5th with the first game against the New York Knicks.

Where is the Pistons training camp located?

The Pistons will hold training camp in the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center which is located at  6201 2nd Ave, Detroit, 48202.

Is the Pistons training camp open to the public?

Yes, and no. There is currently no available streaming information and practices are not open to the general public. However, the Pistons will host one open practice at Little Caesar’s Arena on October 2nd that is open to the public.

The biggest question marks around this roster is how all of the pieces fit together and whether this group is good enough to compete for a play-in spot or if they will be tanking for lottery position again.

Fans are also eager to see what year two of Cade Cunningham looks like and how he will fit with 5th pick Jaden Ivey.

Can Isaiah Stewart and Marvin Bagley III co-exist? Will Bojan Bogdanovic be the starting power forward? Who is going to win the battle for the center position?

The answers to these questions and more will start to become apparent next week, so stay tuned as we will have comprehensive coverage of Pistons training camp and preseason.
