Pistons game tonight: Pistons vs Wizards odds, injury report, predictions, TV channel for Oct. 25
The Detroit Pistons will try to get back on track tonight on the road against the Washington Wizards after losing two in a row.
The Wizards are 2-1 after beating Indiana and Chicago before losing to Cleveland, and the Pistons beat Orlando before losing in a blowout to the Knicks and blowing one to Indiana.
We knew this season was going to be ugly at times and we saw plenty of it in the back-to-back losses for Detroit. This game is the start of their second back-to-back of the young season, so the Pistons would love to get a win before coming back home to face Atlanta tomorrow.
They haven’t won in Washington in a LONG time, but do have some matchups they might be able to exploit tonight.
Here is everything you need to know.
Detroit Pistons vs Washington Wizards: Odds, Spread, Over/Under
According to Fanduel, the Pistons are five point underdogs on the road against the Wizards, which isn’t bad considering they haven’t won a game in Washington since 2014 when Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey were still in grade school.
The money lines are set at +172 for Detroit and -205 for Washington, so if you think Detroit can pull off the upset, just take the money line and get the better odds. The over/under is set at 222, which seems about right.
Tough call on the points, as Washington has only let up more than 110 once this season and that was to Cleveland in an overtime game. That could lead to a low scoring game with Detroit on the road.
Pistons injury report
Alec Burks and Marvin Bagley III are still out for Detroit, which is the main reason their bench has struggled so mightily early on.
The Wizards will be missing Corey Kispert, who is still out with an ankle injury.
Detroit Pistons vs. Washington Wizards: Prediction
It’s hard to take Detroit to win this one considering their 14-game losing streak in Washington, but it has to end some time right?
I do think the young Pistons will be a little more locked in, and this will be the first team they’ve played that didn’t have a big size advantage in the front court.
I do think Detroit will keep it close and possibly even cover, but until further notice, it’s hard to pick them to win against any veteran team, especially one that has Bradley Beal on it.
Detroit 102, Washington 106
