The Detroit Pistons got their best win of the season last night against the Warriors but won’t have much time to enjoy it.

They will hit the road for their third back-to-back of the young season, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they’ll be playing the red-hot Milwaukee Bucks, who have yet to lose a game.

The Pistons are entering a brutal stretch of the schedule, and will be doing it shorthanded, as they were already missing Marvin Bagley III and Alec Burks and now it looks like rookie Jalen Duren will be joining them on the injured list after rolling his ankle last night.

So, to recap, you have a rebuilding team going on the road for the second game of a back-to-back, shorthanded, against the best team in the league.

It’s not surprising that the line is the highest of the season.

Detroit Pistons vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Odds, spread, over/under

According to Fanduel, the Pistons are 12.5 point underdogs tonight on the road, which is the highest line of the season. This number will probably go up closer to game time after we find out for sure that Duren isn’t playing.

The money lines are +610 for Detroit and a staggering -900 for the Bucks, so if you like long shot bets, this game is for you, as a successful bet on the Pistons will pay off. Good luck with that.

The over/under is 228 and I like the over right now, as Detroit is going to let up a ton of points and is starting to figure some things out offensively. With only one active center (unless Noel comes back) Giannis might have 55 points in the paint himself, so expect a high scoring one tonight.

Detroit Pistons vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Predictions

It’s hard to see Detroit not getting smacked in this one, for all of the reasons listed above. The starters also played big minutes last night, highlighted by Cade Cunningham’s 39, so it’s going to be tough for them to bounce back on the road.

This will be a good test for the young Pistons, but they just don’t have the depth to compete with Milwaukee right now, especially if Duren and Noel are both out.

I think Detroit will stay close early, but eventually the Bucks are going to pull away.

Detroit 110, Milwaukee 125
