Pistons game tonight: Pistons vs Bucks odds, injury report, predictions, TV channel for Nov. 2
The Detroit Pistons will play their second game in a row in Milwaukee against the Bucks, who are the NBA’s last undefeated team.
The young Pistons almost pulled off the upset in the last game, as they tied it with less than a minute to go, but Jrue Holiday hit the step-back game winner and Cade Cunningham couldn’t answer.
Even though Detroit lost, they have turned a corner over the last few games offensively and coach Casey seems to have found a better rhythm with his rotations, staggering his starters to keep one of them on the floor at all times.
Cunningham has been spectacular over the last four games, living in the mid-range and asserting himself as Detroit’s top scorer.
Can Cade do enough to get Detroit a shorthanded win over the mighty Bucks? Here is all of the information you need.
Detroit Pistons vs Milwaukee Bucks: Odds, Spread, Over/Under
After only losing by two points in the last meeting, the books have dropped the spread slightly. According to Fanduel, Detroit is a 11.5 underdog in this one, down point from last game. The money lines are set at +490 for Detroit and -670 for Milwaukee, so even though the lines have gone down, the Bucks are still expected to win.
The over/under is 224 combined points, and the teams were well below that in the last game. That was with both teams shooting under 30 percent from long range, so if a couple more of those go in, they’ll go over.
I like the over in this one, but I am not confident about it, as teams playing each other twice like this could clamp down on defense.
Pistons injury report
Alec Burks, Marvin Bagley III and Jalen Duren will all be out for Detroit tonight, so they will once again have a size disadvantage down low. Detroit actually won the points in the paint battle in the last game, but I wouldn’t expect that to happen again.
Joe Ingles, Pat Connaughton, Sandro Mamukelashvili and Khris Middleton will all be out for the Bucks.
Detroit Pistons vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Prediction
Just like last game, I do think Detroit will play Milwaukee tough and keep it close, so I like them to cover, but eventually the Bucks veterans will pull away.
However, check back on the injury reports because this could be a game where Milwaukee sits a few guys to get some load management before they hit the road.
Detroit 112, Milwaukee 117
