Detroit Pistons starting lineups after Isaiah Stewart injury

I think coach Casey got it right when he moved Saddiq Bey to the bench. As he and Bogdanovic are problematic together defensively and Bey can be more of an initiator and scorer if he comes off the bench.

Coach Casey could decide to leave him there and instead go with the two-big lineup that he seems to like:

  • Killian Hayes
  • Jaden Ivey
  • Bojan Bogdanovic
  • Marvin Bagley III
  • Jalen Duren

This lineup has its flaws too, as Bogdanovic will struggle to contain any quick wings and MBIII is not the best at guarding the perimeter if the other team has a stretch. Considering the Detroit Pistons have upcoming games against the Clippers and Lakers, Bogdanovic is going to have some challenges ahead of him defensively.

This also leaves the bench without a center unless coach Casey is finally going to clear the dust off Nerlens Noel and let him play.
