The Detroit Pistons are enjoying their first win streak of the season after winning two in a row heading into tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns.

Detroit has done this behind a suddenly surging bench and a much-better offense overall, although their defense has still been mostly terrible.

The Suns have also won two in a row to climb atop the crowded Western Conference. They are in the middle of a four-game home stand and haven’t played since Tuesday, so should be well rested.

This is the final game of a six-game road trip for Detroit, so they will be happy to get back to the Motor City after a lengthy trip out West.

Detroit is looking at one of their biggest spreads of the season, so are big underdogs tonight in Phoenix. Can they get their third win in a row on the road?

Here is all of the information you need.

Detroit Pistons vs Phoenix Suns: Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The Pistons are 12.5 point underdogs according to Fanduel, which is tied for the highest spread of the season. The money lines are set at -900 for Phoenix and +610 for Detroit, so if you think the Pistons have a chance, you can get big odds on a win.

The over under is set at 227, which is spot on, as these two teams combine for 225.3 on average and allow 225.7, so a slight bump makes sense given that they have both averaged over 120 points per game over their last three.

The two teams have allowed 231 points combined over their last three, so I like the over in this one if everyone plays. However, there are myriad injuries on both sides, so if Detroit is missing additional players, take the under.

Pistons injury report: Is Cade Cunningham out for the season?

There is still no definitive word on Cade Cunningham’s shin injury other than he is out indefinitely. It appears the Pistons are going to try to play the waiting game and see if rest is all it takes, but they need to make a decision soon, as having the surgery late in the season could jeopardize next season.

Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart are still out, though Stewart has been assigned to the G-League, so should be back soon. Killian Hayes, Hamidou Diallo and Jaden Ivey are all questionable for Detroit.

The Suns will be missing Chris Paul, Landry Shamet and Cam Johnson.

Detroit Pistons vs. Phoenix Suns: Prediction

It’s hard to predict this one with so many Detroit players potentially out with injuries. They are already missing three starters and now Killian, Ivey and Diallo could all be out, which is why the spread is so high.

Detroit has been competing in recent games and keeping it close, so I like them to do it again tonight even if they are shorthanded, but it’s hard to see them winning on the road for the third straight game without six players.

Detroit 105, Phoenix 115
