Pistons game tonight: Pistons vs Mavericks odds, Cade Cunningham injury update, predictions, TV channel for Dec. 1
It’s been a half step forward and three steps back for the Detroit Pistons this season, as they started to play better only to get thrashed by the Knicks by 30 points.
The Pistons still have the worst record in the league, and are still missing their best player, so the turnaround we were hoping for this season still hasn’t happened.
Detroit will be taking on the Mavericks and their one man band Luka Doncic, who does more for his team than any other player in the league.
Can Detroit bounce back from the blowout at the hands of the Knicks and get back to playing competitive basketball? Here is everything you need to know.
Detroit Pistons vs Dallas Mavericks: Odds, Spread, Over/Under
Fanduel has Detroit as 7.5 point underdogs at home against Dallas, who is coming off a win last night vs. Golden State. The money lines are +250 for Detroit and -310 for Dallas and the over/under is a combined 221.5 points.
Neither of these teams are great offensively, and Dallas is 4th in the league in points allowed, so the under looks like the smart play here, especially with Dallas on the second game of a back-to-back.
Pistons injury report: Is Cade Cunningham out for the season?
Cade Cunningham is still out for Detroit and there has been no recent update on his shin injury. Jaden Ivey is still questionable for tonight, but everyone else is back, so this will be the healthiest the Pistons have been in awhile.
The recently signed Kemba Walker is questionable for the Mavericks.
Detroit Pistons vs. Dallas Mavericks: Prediction
It’s hard to know what to make of this Detroit team given their recent play and then the huge blowout at home.
Will the competitive team show up tonight and make this a game or will Luka just run wild and score 50 points?
I do think Detroit will bounce back but it’s hard to see them getting a “W” after the last game.
Detroit 108, Dallas 114
