Pistons game tonight: Pistons vs Bulls odds, injury report, predictions, TV channel for Dec. 30
The Detroit Pistons will travel to Chicago to face the Bulls fresh off a lively win over the Orlando Magic.
The Pistons got the win, but it was a costly one, as Killian Hayes was suspended for three games after punching Moe Wagner in the back of the head after Wagner delivered a cheap shot from behind.
Just once I’d like to see the instigator get the same punishment as the retaliator (Wagner got two games), but the Magic did have eight other players suspended for leaving the bench.
So the Pistons will be shorthanded tonight in Chicago against a Bulls team that beat them in all four meetings last season.
Can Detroit start to build some momentum against a Central Division rival? Here is everything you’ll need to know.
Detroit Pistons vs Chicago Bulls: Odds, Spread, Over/Under
Detroit is a 7.5 point underdog in Chicago tonight according to Fanduel and the money lines are set at +260 for the Pistons and -320 for the Bulls. The over/under is a combined 229.5 points, which seems about right considering neither of these teams can defend.
I like the over in this one, as both teams have been scoring a lot of points but not stopping anyone.
Pistons injury report
Cade Cunningham is still out for the season and Isaiah Livers’ injury hasn’t been updated, so he’ll be out for the foreseeable future as well. Killian Hayes will start his three-game suspension tonight and Hamidou Diallo will be out serving his one game vacation. Marvin Bagley III has been upgraded to questionable.
The Bulls will be missing Lonzo Ball, and Patrick Williams, Coby White and Derrick Jones Jr. are all listed as questionable. Alex Caruso and Javonte Green have been upgraded to probable.
Detroit Pistons vs. Chicago Bulls: Prediction
It’s hard to know what to expect out of these two teams, as the Bulls will lose to Houston one night and then beat the Bucks the next. Detroit hasn’t beaten Chicago in a long time, and will have a tough challenge tonight with their starting point guard on the bench.
As much as I want to think the dust up against Orlando might get the Pistons going, they are just missing too many guys. I do think they will cover, but come up just short.
Detroit 115, Chicago 118
