The Detroit Pistons have been quiet on the trade market so far with just two days to go before the deadline.

It is possible that Detroit will do nothing, as they’ve hinted several times that they plan to keep both Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks to make a real run at being good next season.

League insiders increasingly think this is more than just posturing for leverage, so the deadline may pass without the Detroit Pistons making a significant move.

At this point, the Pistons may be better off waiting, as there are several interesting free agents they could pursue in the offseason and wouldn’t have to give up any assets to attain them.

According to Yahoo Sports, one team to watch is the Portland Trail Blazers, who have players they are open to moving at the deadline, but even if they don’t, both are possible free-agent options for the Pistons.

So even if the Pistons don’t end up making a deal with Portland, they are a team worth monitoring in the standings and the rumors, as they have a couple of guys who would fit in with Detroit now or at the end of the season.
