Pistons vs. Wizards prediction and odds for Tuesday, March 14 (Can Detroit cover?)
By Peter Dewey
The Detroit Pistons picked up a blowout win on Monday night despite being down several rotation players against the Indiana Pacers.
The win snapped a nine-game losing streak for Detroit, and the team is right back in action on Tuesday against the Washington Wizards.
The Wizards are in trouble right now, losing seven of their last 10 games, including three straight, to fall out of the play-in field in the Eastern Conference.
Oddsmakers have the Wizards set as massive favorites in this game with Bojan Bogdanovic, Marvin Bagley III, Alec Burks, Isaiah Stewart and Hamidou Diallo all likely out for this game.
Washington has listed Kyle Kuzma and Johnny Davis as questionable for this matchup. Does Detroit at least keep this game close? Or do the Pistons go back to their losing ways on Tuesday night?

It’s a bit of an ugly bet, but I’m going to take the Pistons to cover the 12.5 points in this game.
Washington is not playing well as of late, ranking 26th in the league in net rating over its last 10 games, while Detroit, who is 1-9 over that stretch is 25th!
The Pistons have been playing with a bit of a makeshift roster with so many key players out, but Jaden Ivey (health and safety protocols) may have a chance to return tonight.
Either way, the Wizards don’t deserve to be double-digit favorites in this game. Washington is just 6-9-1 ATS as a home favorite this season, and it only beat the Pistons by two in the last meeting between these teams.
Washington was an 11-point favorite in that game.
Trust the Pistons to hand within double-digits on Tuesday night.
