Ranking the Detroit Pistons top 10 trade assets for 2023-24

#7: Bojan Bogdanovic

Bojan Bogdanovic was one of the hottest names at the trade deadline, but he didn’t go anywhere, instead he was promised to be part of the future and that the Pistons were “going to be great” next year.

He’d still have similar value now, as Bogdanovic is one of the best volume 3-point shooters in the league and has a contract that is not fully guaranteed past next season. He’s not a rental, but he’s not a long-term investment either, so he’d be a perfect addition to a playoff team trying to win now. Bogdanovic isn’t going to bring back a star himself, but in a package he could fetch a haul.

Would the Pistons do this trade for OG Anunoby?. light. Related Story

#8: Alec Burks

Like Bogdanovic, Burks is a known commodity who can hit 3-point shots and is on a team-friendly deal. I don’t think either of them would get a first-round pick, but Burks would definitely have value if the Pistons wanted to move him. Given their lack of shooting and veteran presence off the bench, it’s unlikely that they trade Burks unless they need his salary to match in a bigger deal. If the Detroit Pistons do swing for the fences on a trade this summer, expect one or both of these veterans to be involved.
