Detroit Pistons: Marvin Bagley’s house can be yours
The Detroit Pistons have many important roster decisions to make this summer.
One of the biggest ones is what to do with their logjam of big men, as they currently have four players who can play center and three of them can’t shoot.
The most likely to be moved is Marvin Bagley III, as the acquisition of James Wiseman made him superfluous in the rotation. Of course after all of the injuries the Detroit Pistons suffered this season, you could argue that carrying four bigs is the only way to ensure that two of them are healthy at the same time.
MBIII won’t necessarily be easy to move, as he is still owed $25 million over the next two seasons and only appeared in about half the games this season.
So MBIII may or may not be on the move from Detroit, but he definitely moving out of his home in Arizona, which just went on the market.
Detroit Pistons: Check out Marvin Bagley’s Arizona mansion
If you are a huge Marvin Bagley III fan, want to live in Arizona and have four million to blow (must be nice to be a mediocre NBA player who plays 42 games), then good news, you can buy MBIII’s house!
The mansion is just outside of Tempe (I lived there and taught at ASU, great place to live), where Bagley III is from and is on the market for around four million, a steal if you ask me (I’d buy it myself but all of my money is tied up in lottery tickets).
If you’re into a modern look, polished floors and a home that looks like its never actually been lived in by a human being, then this is the place for you. You can check it out here.
It will be interesting if MBIII buys a permanent home in Detroit or waits to see how this summer plays out. He’d be smart to do the latter, as it’s very possible that he’ll be packing his bags again at some point this offseason.
Hopefully for him he doesn’t get traded to the Suns, or he’ll have wasted that six percent agent fee on nothing.
