Detroit Pistons: Potential free-agent fallout from each playoff series

Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers’ run has probably already raised the free-agent values of Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura, who have both played well in the playoffs.

If the Lakers were to finish off the Warriors, these two will get even more exposure and chances to show themselves on the big stage, which may make it harder for the Lakers to retain them considering both are restricted free agent this summer.

The big question for the Warriors is what will happen with Draymond Green this summer, as he has a player option and hasn’t gotten an offer for an extension yet.

If he doesn’t, he might bolt, in which case the Detroit Pistons could have some interest in bringing him back to their home state depending on who they get in the draft.

The Pistons may not be ready for a guy like Draymond and vice versa, so I wouldn’t give this a high likelihood, but you never know. Draymond seems better suited on a team ready to contend right now and the Pistons aren’t there yet.

Donte DiVincenzo also has a player option for the Warriors and may want to go to a team that will give him more opportunity. If the Warriors lose, expect them to hit the trade market to try and tinker with their roster, as they have young pieces in guys like Kuminga and Moody that could fetch them a player in a trade.
