Detroit Pistons: Trading up in the NBA Draft

Another team that is in a tricky spot is the Portland Trail Blazers, who could use the 3rd pick to add the best player available, but could also use it to trade to find a veteran player to go with Damian Lillard.

If the Pistons really wanted Miller (if he is even available with the 3rd pick), they could package their 5th pick and a guy like Bojan Bogdanovic, which would give the Trail Blazers the chance to add an impact veteran talent as well as a top-5 pick. Is that enough to give up on Bojan? Probably not, but if the Blazers were to throw in one of their young players or a future draft pick, we could have something here.

This would allow the Detroit Pistons to get their wing of the future, and get younger and better defensively on the wing. Portland is definitely a team to watch as the draft approaches, as they could go in a lot of directions.
