2023 NBA Mock Draft

Pick Analysis. Point guard. Kentucky. 149. Scouting Report. Cason Wallace. 12. player

Could this finally be the year that OKC loads up some of their future draft picks and makes a splashy trade? Maybe, but the 12th pick probably isn’t enough to move the needle much, so in this case, they just go with a defensive point guard who would add another tough, do-anything player to their promising roster.

Pick Analysis. player. 13. 81. Scouting Report. Guard. Baylor. Keyonte George

Depending on what the Raptors do with their forwards and guards this summer, they could need an injection of young talent somewhere. It seems likely that one of Fred VanVleet or Gary Trent Jr. will be gone, in which case George makes sense for them.

Center. Duke. 14. 69. Pick Analysis. Scouting Report. Dereck Lively II. player

The Pelicans are one of the teams around the NBA that could use a center, especially one who is a rim protector. They are probably going to lose Jaxson Hayes, so could use a young athlete who can block shots to give them some depth with Jonas Valanciuns and Larry Nance Jr.
