2. Pistons get wing from Mavericks

The Mavs are trying to add more talent around Luka Doncic this summer. Their top priority is bringing back Kyrie Irving in free agency, but they need assets and flexibility beyond that to add improve their roster. Dallas currently does not have a second pick available for trade. Could they flip Reggie Bullock to get one?

The Pistons are familiar with Bullock from his three and a half years in Detroit where he went from role player to starter for the first time in his career. He is a career 38.4 percent 3-point shooter and a plus perimeter defender that can guard at the point of attack. Bullock would give the current Pistons some defensive versatility and flexibility.

The Mavs appear ready to move on from Christian Wood, and Maxi Kleber can only play 25 minutes per game at this stage of his career. Dallas certainly needs another big man this summer, but would they target Bagley? He certainly has potential but has struggled to stay on the court. The 24-year-old helps solves Dallas’ rebounding issues, but he is far from the perfect fit.

The Dallas Mavericks may not agree to the trade above, but they could be the perfect team for the Pistons to work out a blockbuster with this summer.
