Detroit Pistons: Greatest player at each height

6’4″

Jaden Ivey

This one, remarkably, was difficult to delve into. The obvious Piston who is 6’4″ and worthy of mentioning among the greats is rookie Jaden Ivey, whose mention is on the merit of promise. The 5th overall pick played great last season, 16.3 points, 5.2 assists, 3.9 rebounds and nearly a steal a game made it evident that Detroit had gotten a steal out of the draft. With new head coach Monty Williams coming in to implement a faster-paced offense and teammate Cade Cunningham returning to lighten some of Ivey’s load, the sophomore should have a breakthrough.

And for the record, I checked on the height of about a million different PIstons to give Ivey some competition. Darvin Ham. Dana Barros. Carlos Arroyo. Brandon Jennings. Brandon Knight. Derrick Rose. Corey Maggette. Aaron Afflalo. Damon Jones (he was close). Luke Kennard. Just, player after player that I knew wasn’t going to fit the description but was worth taking a shot on.

Back to Ivey. The kid is special, and when it’s all said and done, he’ll be the best 6’4″ human being to ever play Detroit Basketball. Book it.
