The greatest Detroit Pistons of all time by height
Detroit Pistons: Greatest player at each height
6’7″
Dennis Rodman
Richard Hamilton was so much fun to watch. He never stopped moving without the basketball. He was skinny, but fearless, and his facemask became iconic. He was a perfect backcourt mate for Chauncey Billups and quite a bit of offense ran through him. His accolades are innumerable. Besides the NBA championship, which we all know about, he was also a 3-time all-star.
Cade Cunningham. Motorcade is fire from midrange and ten years from now, he’s going to be the greatest 6’7” Piston who ever lived. As for the present, well, we have to look to the past – the 1980s to be exact.
Dennis Rodman’s best seasons may have come with the Chicago Bulls, but remember, The Worm, like most of his teammates, sacrificed for the greater good. In doing so, he won two NBA championships in Detroit. When the team grew older and fell out of the title hunt, Rodman began his ascension. By this time, he already had his first NBA Defensive Player of the Year award under his belt, but he was at the absolute pinnacle of his game when it came to rebounding the basketball. Rodman averaged over 18 rebounds a game in his last two seasons with the Pistons, including his career high of 18.7 in ’91-’92. Rodman was a Hall-of-Famer and a Bad Boy through and through. No one could do what he could do, at any height.
