Detroit Pistons: 6 teams that need a center and what they could trade

Houston Rockets

Current centers: Alperen Sengun, Jock Landale

Trade pieces: Jae’Sean Tate, Aaron Holiday, second round picks

The Rockets have a bunch of long players and may decide they don’t need another traditional center. They also don’t have a lot to trade that would interest the Pistons, but doesn’t Marvin Bagley III seem like a perfect fit for Houston?

New York Knicks

Current centers: Mitchell Robinson, Isaiah Hartenstein, Jericho Sims

Trade pieces: Isaiah Roby, second round picks

The Knicks probably fall into the same category as the Rockets, as they could use a center that can score but don’t have much to send back. The Knicks don’t have any cap space so Detroit would have to take back equal contracts, which makes this a tough match.
