Thompson Twins in the 2020 Draft

Since 2020, Anthony Edwards’ athleticism has set him apart from his draft class, but at the time people debated between Edwards, Wiseman, and Ball. The Thompson twins would’ve been in that conversation and could’ve gone in the top three.

Anthony Edwards’ ability to switch speeds and get downhill tantalizes, and he has excellent size for a shooting guard.

If we set aside Wiseman’s inability to get on the floor with Golden State and focus instead on why the Warriors drafted him, he’s a long, athletic, bouncy big—the type of player who screams potential, and the type of player Golden State needed.

LaMelo Ball is a point guard in a small forward’s body, something every team has wanted since Magic Johnson.

But if the you did a re-draft of the 2020 NBA Draft and put Amen and Ausar Thompson in it, they would be in the argument starting with the second or third pick.
