The Detroit Pistons will go 2-6 in April

Wins: Bulls, Spurs

Losses: Grizzlies, Hawks, Grizzlies, Nets, 76ers, Mavericks

It would be tough to see this young roster go 8-16 in the final two months, but even that might be optimistic, as the schedule is so tough and road-heavy. The only thing working in Detroit’s favor is that some of these teams might already be tanking (Chicago?) or wrapped up playoff spots, so could be resting some key players.

The Detroit Pistons will go 34-46 in the 2023-24 season

Ok, so we know this one is wrong, as there are still two games not yet on the schedule, but I think most fans would be happy if Detroit doubled their win total in Monty William’s first season as head coach. Obviously, Detroit will lose some games against bad teams and win some against good teams, but if they stay healthy and everything clicks, this isn’t impossible. Last season it took 41 wins to make the play-in tournament, and the Eastern Conference could be even tougher this season with teams like Orlando, Charlotte, Washington and Indiana all improving.

It will definitely take some good luck for the Pistons to win 34 games, but getting to 30 or above would probably make next season a success.
