After a promising rookie year and a sophomore season cut short by injury, Cade Cunningham will be eager to get next season started.
He looked stronger in recent scrimmages where he dominated Team USA as part of the Select Team chosen to help prepare them for the FIBA World Cup.
Let’s face it, this team is only going to go as far as Cade Cunningham takes them, and in his third season he not only needs to prove he can stay healthy, but that he is that guy for the Detroit Pistons.
This is the year he has to show why he was the #1 pick and why the Pistons are building their roster around him. Unlike the rest of the players on this list, Cunningham has already shown he belongs in the league, but he has to prove he can be the centerpiece of a bright future.
