Luka Doncic is dominating in the FIBA World Cup

Slovenia is not a team stacked with NBA players or household names, but they do have Luka Doncic and that may be enough.

Luka has been playing out of his mind so far, averaging 35.5 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in Slovenia’s two wins over Puerto Rico and China.

Team USA was obviously concerned about Luka, as they added Cade Cuningham to the select team just to imitate Doncic in scrimmages to get a taste of what they could potentially be up against.

While Team USA has been spreading the ball around and not letting any one guy dominate, Slovenia has leaned heavily on Doncic, who pretty much has the ball in his hands the entire game.

Whether they have the depth to defend the US is a different story, but you can’t rule out Doncic just going off and winning a game single handedly.
