6. Bol Bol

About a year ago, there were a few short days in which Detroit Pistons’ fans were excited about the addition of Bol Bol.

Detroit had completed a trade to send Rodney McGruder and a second-round pick to the Nuggets in exchange for Bol, but it was voided after the young center failed to pass his physical.

He had foot surgery not long after, so the Pistons felt vindicated in their decision, but then he had an ok season for the Orlando Magic and fans were once again questioning Detroit’s process.

The truth is that after a nice flurry at the beginning of the season, Bol fell off the map and his numbers are actually pretty bad overall. The shooting and shot blocking we saw disappeared and the Magic let him walk after the season.

He signed a minimum deal to likely warm the bench for the Phoenix Suns, but for a brief moment, he was a Piston.
