3. DeAndre Jordan

DeAndre Jordan has played for seven different teams in his long career, but the Detroit Pistons were not one of them.

Jordan briefly came to Detroit as part of the trade to dump draft bust Sekou Doumbouya on the Nets. The Pistons took on Jordan’s contract, some second-round picks and cash in exchange for Doumbouya and Jahlil Okafor.

This was nothing more than a salary dump for the Nets, who were desperate to get out from Jordan’s contract, and a mercy killing for Detroit, who needed to move on from Doumbouya and Okafor, who were horrible.

Everyone assumed that the Pistons would just buy Jordan out, which they did for $4 million just two days after signing him. Jordan is still kicking around the league and won his first ring with the Denver Nuggets last season.
