Golden State Warriors

The Warriors are going to be a very interesting team this season.

Like the Lakers, they are in their last few runs with the Splash Brothers/Draymond core and want to win another title.

Unlike the Lakers, the Warriors have some young guys who are potential fits with the Pistons, so if the Warriors are looking to upgrade for a title run, Detroit could potentially benefit.

I’ve had my eye on Jonathan Kuminga from the beginning, as I love his athleticism, size and defense at the four, especially considering his shooting improved last season and he only has a team option left on his deal after this season.

The Warriors have been reluctant to trade their young talent for win-now help, but this could be the season when they finally give in and move Kuminga for a player who can help them win a title this season.

With contract negotiations with Klay Thompson stalled (no, the Pistons aren’t trading for him) the Warriors may be more inclined to go “all in” this season with their future muddier than ever.
