How to watch Pistons vs Thunder and best bets on the game
The Detroit Pistons will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder for the second time this preseason after winning the first matchup in dramatic fashion.
Wins and losses in the preseason don’t matter, so all eyes will be on Cade Cunningham, who missed the first meeting with tendinitis in his quad. Cunningham was a full participant in practice this week, so hopefully the Pistons were just being cautious and he’ll be ready to go.
Detroit finishes the preseason with a back-to-back, not ideal for a team already dealing with injuries, so it’s unlikely that we see all of their guys play in both games.
The Thunder are also likely to be missing players, so we could see a healthy dose of the deep bench tonight for both teams.
How to watch/stream Pistons vs. Thunder
Tonight’s game vs. the Thunder will not be televised, at least locally. You can listen to the game on 97.1 FM The Ticket.
If you live out of market, the game will be available to stream on NBA League Pass or you can get a free trial at FUBOtv.
Best bets on the Pistons vs. Thunder
If you are betting on preseason games you probably need help. The hottest bet of late has been on the under for the Pistons’ win total on the season but this game obviously won’t count for that.
According to Fanduel, the Pistons are 5.5 point underdogs tonight against the Thunder. The over/under for the game is 229.5 which looks very low going by the results from their last meeting in which they scored a combined 253 points.
The money lines are set at +184 for Detroit and -230 for OKC, so the books aren’t expecting the Pistons to win this one.
It’s too early to panic about minor injuries (if they are minor) but it would be nice to see Cunningham and Duren back in the lineup tonight, as these two haven’t had a ton of time together and can use all the reps they can get before the games count.
