2024 NBA Mock Draft: Pistons go against grain, Spurs get Wembanyama help

#16: Philadelphia 76ers select Devin Carter 

Philly will be looking for guys who can play right away with Maxey and Embiid and Carter fits that description as a versatile guard who can do a little of everything. 

He’s a very good rebounder for his size, a great defender who averages just under three “stocks” per game and a high-volume 3-point shooter who knocks them down at a high clip. 

He’s a selfless player, who should be ready to play right away and will do whatever it takes to win, which is what Philly is after to put around their two stars.
