#19: Toronto Raptors select Johnny Furphy

The Raptors could need a long-term replacement for Gary Trent Jr if he leaves in free agency (he’s another guy to watch for the Pistons) and Furphy would give them a big wing who can play on the perimeter.

At 6-foot-9, Furphy has great size for the position and even though he didn’t shoot lights out in his first season at Kansas (35 percent from long range) he should be a guy who can spread the floor.

Toronto was one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the league, so Furphy would give them some help there as a big wing who can knock them down.
