#21: New Orleans Pelicans select Kyle Filipowski
The Pelicans are likely to take a center here, as Jonas Valanciunas is walking in free agency, and they need a long-term replacement.
Filipowski offers some of the things the Pels need in a center who will be playing with Zion Williamson, in that he can shoot, pass and offer a more dynamic offensive option.
He’s a nice fit with Zion and could eventually develop into an effective stretch five who can run the pick and pop with Williamson and create space with his shooting.
