2024 NBA Mock Draft: Pistons go against grain, Spurs get Wembanyama help

#28: Denver Nuggets select Tyler Kolek 

The Nuggets will be looking for someone who can play right away and fill a need and Kolek could do both. 

Kolek is a high-level playmaker who averaged just under eight assists per game in his final year of college. He is already 23 years old, so should be ready to step in and play a role as backup point guard. 

He can knock down a 3-point shot, isn’t a slouch on defense and will get the scorers the ball where they like it, which would be a nice fit for Denver off the bench.
