With no glaring holes to fill, especially if they extend Donovan Mitchell, the Cavs are another team who can take a shot at a raw project with huge upside. 

Smith is another big wing who has flashed shooting ability at 6-foot-9, giving him the 3-and-D potential all teams are looking for. 

The Cavs already have players at his spot, so they can bring Smith along at his own pace and potentially end up with a steal down the road, as Smith has the physical tools to be an NBA forward.
