#27: Minnesota Timberwolves selects Daron Holmes II

Holmes II is one of those versatile tweener bigs who is not really a center, but can defend multiple spots, a la Isaiah Stewart of the Detroit Pistons.

He’d be a nice understudy for Naz Reid, or a guy who could potentially replace him if Minnesota wanted to sell high on Reid and cut some payroll.

Holmes II is a big, versatile defender who would fit right in with what the ‘Wolves are building.
