#3: Houston Rockets select Donovan Clingan

This is another team that will be trying to move their pick right up until the moment they make it, as the Rockets have so many young players already and want to make a splashy win-now move.

Barring that, Clingan makes sense, even with Alperen Sengun already on board. Clingan may be the most impactful defender in this class and Sengun doesn’t block many shots.

I would bet on Houston trading this pick but if not, doubling down on continued defensive improvement, which is how they made their leap last season.
