#8: San Antonio Spurs select Nikola Topic 

The Spurs take a bit of a gamble here, as Topic was recently injured, but they have time and can wait for him to get healthy. 

He’s not a great shooter, but they have Sheppard for that, leaving Topic to be the guy who gets into the lane and throws lobs to Wemby all day. 

A big point playmaking point guard, an elite shooter and the best young center in the league are a pretty good start for San Antonio, who fill needs with high-upside players who fit.
