2024 NBA Mock Draft: Pistons get defensive, Bulls, Thunder get steals

#15: Miami Heat select Zach Edey 

The Heat are a team that could go in a lot of directions this summer depending on their extension negotiations with Jimmy Butler. 

It seems unlikely they will blow up their roster completely, so Edey makes sense flanked by first-team All-Defensive player Bam Adebayo. 

Adebayo’s versatility and ability to spread the floor would allow Miami to go huge, put a smothering defense in the paint and add a guy who should be able to get them some easy buckets down low.
