2024 NBA Mock Draft: Pistons get defensive, Bulls, Thunder get steals

#17: Los Angeles Lakers select Tristan da Silva 

Like Philly, LA won’t be looking for a project player here, as their window to win with LeBron and AD is closing rapidly. 

Da Silva is as sure a thing as there is in this draft, as he has size and can shoot the 3-ball, which will fit in seamlessly next to LeBron and Davis. 

He has a chance to be this year’s Jaime Jaquez Jr., the older prospect who fell but can contribute right away on a good team.
