10. The Atlanta Hawks select Matas Buzelis

A tall and skinny point-forward type, Buzelis is one of the most interesting and tough to gauge players in the draft. He’s a smart passer and flashes signs of elite shooting but he’s been inconsistent as a shooter and may not have the strength to finish in the paint in the NBA. But his size (6-foot-11) and potential as a shooter and defender will likely keep him in the lottery, if not the top 10. Buzelis doesn’t lack confidence, as he challenged Zaccharie Risacher to a game of one-on-one for some reason.

Are teams going to shy away from Ignite players in this draft because of how terrible the team was? Both Holland and Buzelis were broke from 3-point range and didn’t put up the kinds of numbers you’d expect from elite prospects in the G-League. They were also on a team that only won two games this season, so it will be interesting to see what teams do with that information.
