11. The Chicago Bulls select Dalton Knecht

One of the fastest draft risers, I do think Knecht is a guy who benefitted greatly from recency bias, as he had a nice run in the NCAA Tournament. He’s going to be 23 years old on draft day, but projects as one of the safest picks, as he can get buckets and at least will be a good off-the-ball shooting threat. The Bulls might need to replace DeMar DeRozan but if they keep him, Knecht would be a quality bench option.

He’s a plug-and-play guy with a high floor and low ceiling, which would be perfect for the perpetual 9th-seed Bulls.
