13. The Portland Trail Blazers select Tidjane Salaun

The Trail Blazers will do what the Detroit Pistons should have done the last few seasons: load up on wing players with good size and see if one of them sticks. Instead, the Pistons took small guards two years in a row after taking Kilian Hayes and Cade Cunningham previously, which made little sense. Saluan is another 6-foot-9 forward who can play all over defensively and has potential as a weakside shot blocker. The big question is whether he will ever be able to shoot well enough to stay on the floor but he’s only 18 and his defensive upside is there.
