2. The Charlotte Hornets select Stephon Castle 

This may be another reach for fit but Castle does make a lot of sense for the Hornets. They need to pair LaMelo Ball with a solid defender and Castle may be the best perimeter defender in the draft. Guards can’t move him, as we’ve seen in the NCAA Tournament and he can comfortably guard 1-3, which would keep Ball and Miller from having to take on the toughest defensive assignments. Castle’s shot is a big question mark, but the Hornets need help on both sides of the ball, and if his shot ever comes around (he’s very streaky), Castle could be a two-way star.
