28. The Minnesota Timberwolves select DaRon Holmes

A versatile big man who can shoot, he’d be a nice fit with Rudy Gobert if the Timberwolves end up trading Karl-Anthony Towns this summer. Even if they don’t Holmes would be a solid backup who can play both spots. He’s a good shot blocker who has also shown potential as a passer in the pick-and-roll, so he’d be a nice project big for Minnesota regardless of what they do this summer.
