7. The San Antonio Spurs select Reed Sheppard 

The Spurs get their backcourt of the future and Sheppard is a great complement to Topic. He’s a lights-out shooter who can help spread the floor and a very good defender who would immediately endear himself to Gregg Popovich. He can play on or off the ball and gives them another playmaker who can get Wembanyama the ball. 

It’s possible the Spurs will trade one of these picks to speed up the construction around Wembanyama and could be a big time player on the trade market, but if they don’t end up trading for someone like Trae Young, getting two gaurds with varying skills makes sense.
